Carl Brenders Signed Limited Edition Offset Lithograph "Kalahari"

A signed limited edition offset lithograph on paper after an original 1997 mixed media painting by very well-listed contemporary Belgian-American artist Carl Brenders (born 1937), titled Kalahari. The print depicts a massive impressively photorealistic rendering of a male lion resting in a dry grassy field. His golden coat camouflages remarkably with the dried golden grasses standing around him. The print is signed in-plate to the lower right and is signed and numbered 1450 from an edition of 3500 in ink to the lower left. It is double-matted in beige and brown suede and is presented behind glass in a composite frame with brown and gold tone finishes.
