Antique American Stimpson Standard Scale Co. Grain Scale

Item Details

An antique American grain scale made by Stimpson Standard Scale Company of Detroit. Made of wood and cast iron with triangular legs and spoked wheels. Curved wood handles extend downward from one side and a curved cover reveals the sliding weight and beam. A plank top is affixed with large cast iron rivets with a worn painted border. The scale cover retains worn graphics throughout and has one weight.
