Charley Harper Offset Lithograph "Headbanger"
Item Details
An offset lithograph on paper after an original serigraph by well-listed and renowned Cincinnati artist and wildlife conservationist Charley Harper (1922 – 2007), titled Headbanger. The print depicts a bright red, white, and black woodpecker ferociously banging its beak against a tall tree trunk. The print is signed in-plate to the lower left and the artist’s estate stamp signature is embossed to the lower right. The piece’s title is written in pencil to the lower margin. It is matted in black and presented behind glass in a wooden frame with a hanging wire. A certificate of authenticity is attached to the verso.
