A hand-carved wooden figurine by Romer of Italy. This painted wooden figurine depicts a stockbroker in a tie and jacket, feeding a ticker tape through both hands with a shocked, open-mouthed expression. While the figure and base are wood, the ticker tape machine is black metal and the ‘tape’ is white textile ribbon. A label on the underside reads ‘Romer Made in Italy’.
