1947 Noritake Floral China Set

A 1947 floral china set by Noritake. This seventy-one piece collection includes one oval vegetable bowl, one gravy boat with an attached underplate, one covered vegetable bowl, one small oval serving platter, one large oval serving platter, five dinner plates, nine salad plates, ten rimmed soup bowls, eleven saucers, eleven cereal bowls, ten dessert bowls, one creamer, and nine footed teacups. These pieces feature floral rims, scrolled center bands, and gilt trim. The underside of each is stamped with the Noritake maker’s mark from 1947 and ‘Made in Occupied Japan’. This lot also includes one floral footed teacup marked ‘Jyoto China, Japan, Blue Traditional’.
