An antique walnut armoire by Berkey and Gay. This piece features two dovetail constructed drawers with burl finish fronts and brass style knob handles flanking a carved floral detail with applied scroll work sitting on a rectangular double beveled edge over two cabinet doors with arched recessed panels, burl finish, and applied floral detail opening into three aligned drawers with knob handles and three stacked drawers with scoop fronts. The second unit features a burl finish facade and applied scroll detail with brass tone ring pulls on three stacked drawers over a carved scalloped apron terminating on padded feet. This piece is marked ‘Berkey and Gay’ to a drawer interior.
