Frank M. Whiting & Co. Sterling Tazza and Crown Silver Co. Creamer and Sugar
Item Details
A selection of weighted sterling tableware. This grouping includes a pedestal sugar bowl and creamer set by the Crown Silver Company with applied handles and gadroon trim. They are stamped ‘Crown Sterling Weighted’ underneath. These are accompanied by a Frank M. Whiting & Co pedestal tazza with floral, foliage, and beaded repoussé trim and chased flowers to the center of the bowl. It is stamped with the Frank M. Whiting & Co. maker’s mark and ‘Sterling by Frank M. Whiting & Company Weighted and Re-Enforced 199’.
Condition
- to fair; some surface wear with scrathes and tarnishing; pitting to compote; dents to base of compote.
