A pair of relief porcelain sculptures by Alt Meissen Art. These two sculptures depict scenes from the Castle-Park of Sanssouci around 1750-1760, as a pair of people sits near various foliage enjoying each other’s company. They are rendered in a Rococo-style, and are adorned with circa 18th century clothing. Each high relief work is affixed to a mint green ceramic backdrop, which is presented in a gold tone wooden frame featuring moulded ornate patterning to the corners. To the verso is an affixed statement from Alt Meissen Art regarding each piece, as well as an affixed hanging loop.
Condition
- some scratches to frames; male figure appears to be missing an instrument; staining to verso of each piece.

- measures one frame; background measures: 6.75" w
x 9.25" h; both pieces measure approximately identical.
