Vintage Yo-Yo Clown Doll

A vintage yo-yo cloth doll. This piece is in the form of a clown and features a body composed of folded cloth with bunched wool for the hands and feet. The head features a stuffed cloth head with a painted cardboard face with a bunched wool finial on the top of the head. The doll is held together with internal rope, which allows for a wide variation of posing. There is no maker’s mark present on this piece.

Condition

- the face is worn with some scratches and discoloration; tear on the hat.
