Bockeburg and Additional Red Glazed Pottery
Item Details
A collection of seven red glazed pieces. The group includes five vases in various shapes by several makers and two bowls. The featured example was made by Bockeburg and has a glaze technic that exposes portions of the black clay body beneath. There are pieces with impressed and printed factory marks on the underside. Markings include ‘Bockeburg Made in Germany’, ‘Made in Portugal’, ‘Western Germany’ and illegible artist’s signatures.

- some imperfections from the potting process and wear.
