Bill Pendergrass Offset Lithographs From "Wildlife Conservation Series"
Item Details
A selection of offset lithographs after paintings from Bill Pendergrass’s Wildlife Conservation Series. These three prints on paper include Twisting Through: Wood Ducks (1990), Winging South: Canada Geese (1989) and Easing Down: Mallards (1988). They each depict a central grouping of geese and ducks flying in formation through a wooded creek. An in plate signature is seen to the lower left corner of the composition, which is accented to the margins by a printed signature, headline reading ‘Commemorative Print’, and remarque composition with the title. A stamp featuring each composition, as well as a gold seal from the North American Wildlife Conservation, are presented beneath the composition to either corner. The prints are placed under glass beneath dual-layered matting in a stained wooden frame with hanging wire to the verso.
