Circa 1930s Ohio Art Co. Tin Litho Tea Set
Item Details
A circa 1930s tin litho tea set by the Ohio Art Company. This pink and yellow miniature tea set, which features color printed designs of scenes from the fairy tale ‘Cinderella,’ includes three teacups, three saucers, three plates, a teapot, a sugar bowl, a creamer and a tray. Each piece is marked on the bottom, ‘Ohio Art Co., Bryan, O., U.S.A.’ and the box is marked, ’Children’s Tea Set; Made by the Ohio Art Co.; Bryan, Ohio; U.S.A.; X35A; Pink.’
Condition
- some minor surface wear and dust consistent with age; teapot lid stuck closed; heavy wear and tear to box including previous adhesive tape repair.
