An original signed watercolor painting on mat board of two figures by listed artist Creason Clayton (1927 – 2006). The painting depicts an abstract likeness of a man and a woman in a palette of blue, brown, and rust hues. The artist has signed the painting twice to the lower right with the year ‘90.’ It is mounted on white board, and framed under TruVue Conservation Clear glass with a faux finish wood frame painted to appear as rusted metal. Picture wire is applied verso for hanging. Creason Clayton is an acclaimed American artist born in 1927 in Kentucky, who was formally educated at multiple universities such as the American Academy of Art, Chicago, Illinois.
