20th Century "Whalebone Repair Handle" Printing Blocks
Item Details
A collection of four wood and metal printing blocks dating to the late twentieth century. This collection includes four printing blocks, each designed to print multiple copies of the same label or advertisement on one sheet. The two-copy block, the four-copy block and one of the six-copy blocks feature a rectangular box with the text ‘Whalebone’ in large capital letters at the top, ‘Repair Handle’ in smaller letters below that, four cities with ZIP codes, and a horizontal bar. The other block has six copies of a box with the same information, but with a second bar at the top in place of the word ‘WHALEBONE.’
