A limited edition, signed M. I. Hummel figurine from the M. I. Hummel Commemorative Edition, ‘Berlin Airlift.’ This special edition ‘Berlin Airlift’ (#83, 7 1/2’ tall) includes the M. I. Hummel figurine ‘Auf Wiedersehen’ (HUM 153/0) and a porcelain replica of the Airlift Memorial residing in Berliln. The memorial base is marked in blue with the TMK 7 Goebel hallmark, ’Berliner Luftbrücke – Symbol für den Freiheitswillen der Menchen – In commeemoration of the Berlin Airlift – a heroic effort to keep a city free – June 26, 1948 to September 30, 1949 – Limited Edition number 17,383 in an edition of 25,000. It is initialed by the artist in black and incised with the mold number 57 155 19. This item comes in the original box with the COA.
Condition
The figurine has no cracks, crazing, or chips. The box shows some wear.
