A Lane Furniture ‘Roxbury’ colonial lowboy cedar chest. This Queen Anne style lowboy is a cedar chest above a single drawer. The piece features a mahogany finish, with brass hardware. The chest features faux drawers and a carved shell detail. The drawer is lined with green felt and has a scalloped bottom edge with a carved shell accent. The piece stands on cabriole legs. An interior tag reads ‘The Colonial Low-boy/The Roxbury/ The Lane Company/Altavista, Virginia’. The lock is not present and can not be locked.
