Item Details
An original oil painting on canvas titled Rustic Beechwoods by Indiana artist Bryan Tarlton (1899-1962). This landscape scene depicts an autumnal forest with golden hue throughout and a forest floor filled with red and brown leaves. This piece is signed to the lower right corner. It is presented in a gilt wood frame. Verso features wire for hanging purposes, artist’s name, piece title, and is dated ‘1943.’

- minor scratches, abrasions on frame; paint loss at upper right corner and at center left edge.
