Ink Wash
A collection of Washington D.C. landmark ink drawings by Richard C. Guy. This selection includes six works, featuring The Jefferson Memorial, The Capitol of the United States of America, The White House, The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, The Justice Department, and The Washington Monument. Richard Guy (1928-2014) was an illustrator and painter whose work focused on historical sites and landmarks both in and outside of Washington, DC. Guy was particularly interested in the Civil War and was known for his portraits of military figures.
Condition
- to fair; some staining and wear to edges and throughout; acid burn; some with tape or glue residue; one with a cut out section; some pieces are partially attached to backing or matting.
