Signed by the artist in the lower right corner. Presented in a gold-tone frame without glass. Blätter is known for his landscapes of German scenes.

- some wear along canvas edges including paint loss and abrasions; some wear in frame including scratches, stains and discoloration to all four sides; painting has been cut and relined onto canvas; signs of in-painting to lower right area of composition below trees; signs of large areas of in-painting throughout sky; canvas needs adjusting in frame.
