Novelty Vintage Dog Lamp And Clock
Item Details
A group of two vintage pottery novelties. The assembled pair each depicts a dog, one made a lamp base and the other a clock. There is an incised ‘Germany’ and a model number on the base of the clock. It is likely that the lamp was produced in the 1950s in Japan and had a decal as a mark.
Condition
- lamp has minor oxidation and losses to the enamels on the nose, metal on back of clock has minor rust, glass on front of clock has minor chips and the clock face has stains; clock is untested and lamp was working at the time of cataloging.
