An acrylic painting on canvas of a pointillism composition. This painting depicts a layered gradation of cool hues applied with a thick impasto, featuring a palette of blues, yellows, greens and reds. The darkened lower portion successively becomes lighter towards the top of this vertical composition. The canvas is wrapped around a wooden stretcher, which is strung with hanging wire and contains a marker date (7/28/2001) and signature, which appears to read ‘Raphael WB’.

Condition

- stretcher frame bowed; could benefit from cleaning.
