A collection of marine fossil specimens. This large collection of marine fossils features two specimens of the oyster genus Gryphaea sp., commonly called a devil’s toenail. Also included are three high spired gastropod specimens, tow brachipod specimens including one specimen of Platystrophia ponderosa and a piece of fossiliferous limestone with a large bivalve mollusk specimen. The oyster, gastropods and brachiopods come with informational cards but no collection locality information is available for any of these specimens.
