Ink Wash
A mixed media painting of a cathedral by J. Russell. This painting utilizes watercolor and gouache to define an ink drawing of a traditional cathedral surrounded by snowy trees and people walking near it. An artist signature and date (1932) is seen to the lower right corner of the composition. The painting is presented underneath glass in a black wooden frame featuring gold tone accents and hanging wire to the verso.

- foxing and stains to painting; wear to finish of frame; discoloration to paper; backing to frame torn and worn.
