Vintage Wooden Japanese Box with Ceramic Nesting Dishes

Item Details

This is a vintage round ornately painted wooden box made in Japan. It includes seven ceramic dishes that nest within the box. All of these dishes feature a hand painted floral design similar to that of the design on the boxes lid. The dishes are marked ‘Hand Painted Japan’ on their bases, along with a floral maker’s mark with an ‘H’ in its center.
