A Chinese lacquer folding screen. A six panel folding screen. One side is decorated with an array of birds in an aquatic scene scene with flowers and trees. In shades of blue, green, red, and white, on a rich brown lacquer background. The reverse features a dynamic grassland scene with birds in action on a gold ground.
