Ray Harm Offset Lithograph "Baltimore Oriole"
Item Details
An offset lithograph after an original painting by American wildlife artist Ray Harm (1926-2015). Titled Baltimore Oriole, Icterus galibula it depicts a male and female example of the black and gold bird, bird on narrow twigs above a full nest of chicks. It is titled below, and labeled ‘Print No VI’, ’ Ray Harm Wildlife Art, Incorporated, 1963’ and ‘From the Private Collection of Mr. Wood Hannah’. It is signed both in the plate and by hand near the bottom center. This work is presented under acrylic glass in a gold tone wooden frame, wired for hanging.
Condition
- some surface wear including minor scratches and abrasions to the frame; paint loss to the frame near the upper left corner.
