A set of Salem China Company English Village ironstone tableware. This collection includes twelve cereal bowls, fourteen fruit bowls, two round vegetable bowls, sixteen dinner plates, ten salad plates, nine bread and butter plates, one saucer, a covered sugar bowl and creamer set, and one covered vegetable bowl. These pieces feature the English Village pattern with blue village scenes and floral rims. The underside of each is marked ‘English Village by Salem China Co., Olde Staffordshire, Finest English Ironstone, Hand Engraved Underglaze, Permanent Colour, ©Salem, England’.
