Item Details

A vintage Windsor style sack-back armchair by the Cochran Chair Company. The wooden, walnut-stained frame features a bowed crest above a nine-spindle back and a contoured, plank seat. The curved arms continue to carved handholds and the chair rises on splayed, vase- and ring-turned legs joined by swollen stretchers. The underside retains a label for ‘Cochran Chair Company / Aurora / Indiana’.
