Vietnamese Silk Embroidery Art
Item Details
A Vietnamese silk embroidered art piece. This work depicts a curving path lined by sparse patched of green grass and pink flowers with a nón lá, or leaf hat, lying in the pathway. The piece is embroidered with the maker’s mark ‘XQ Vietnam’ to the lower right corner. It is presented behind an ivory mat, under glass in a wood composite frame with a metal tab hanger to the verso. A business card taped to the verso reads ‘XQ NHA Trang Arts And Crafts Center’.
Condition
- some wear to frame, especially at corners; tape affixed to verso; business card taped to verso.
