A Reed & Barton silver plate tea kettle. This teapot features a turned handle with a foliage relief finial and fluted edges. The body features a fluted body with a scrolling, pierced base with chains and keylocks; it has paw feet. The underside is marked, ‘1866/ Reed & Barton 12.’

Condition

- significant tarnishing; chain connecting one pin to the base has broken (both pins still present).
