A collection of early 20th century books. This features an illustrated edition of Victor Hugo’s popular novel Les Misérables, published by Dodd, Mead, and Company circa 1920. Also includes a ca. 1900 publication of The Diary of John Evelyn Esquire F.R.S. ed. William Bray; a ca. 1920 Little Leather Library publication of Edgar Allan Poe’s The Gold-Bug; and a 1966 copy of Collin’s Italian-English Dictionary. Both The Gold-Bug and Evelyn’s Diary are fully bound in leather.
