Item Details
A pair of artist proof etchings by Swiss artist Michele Lehmann. These two prints, which are contained within the same frame, depict slightly symmetrical compositions of women in traditional dresses and hoods running away in a diagonal formation. An artist signature and initial ‘E/A’ can be seen in graphite to the lower margins, which indicate both as being artist proofs. They are presented under glass beneath a dual layered mat in a stained wooden frame featuring gold tone borders, as well as artist information and hanging wire to the verso.
Condition
- paint on frame is wearing off of front portion; bottom two corners of backing paper are peeling off.
