An original oil painting on canvas board by well-listed Russian-American marine painter Abraham Rosenthal (New York/Massachusetts; 1886 – 1963), dated 1946. This skillfully painted harbor scene depicts numerous sailboats and fishing boats tied to the docks of an East Coast marina, rendered in carefully mixed, clean pigments. Artist signature and date are marked in paint to the lower right. The painting is mounted in a beveled wood frame with a bright gold leaf finish with a wire to the verso.
