A collection of Wedgwood American Clipper Ships china plates. This set includes eight plates with brown transferware images of various mid 19th century clipper ships to the centers, featuring the Nathaniel B. Palmer, the Challenge, the Red Jacket, the Game Cock, the Witchcraft, the Flying Cloud, and the Ann McKim. There are images of chips to the edges with rope bands. The underside of each plate is stamped ‘Wedgwood Etruria, England’.
