An original oil painting on canvas by listed American artist Phillip Cantrell (Michigan, born 1922). The painting depicts a snowy forest scene where a small stream curves between tall leafless tree trunks. A small yellow cottage, its roof blanketed in thick snow, is nestled at the edge of the water. The painting is signed in black to the lower right. It is presented in a wooden frame with a hanging wire attached to the verso.
