Item Details

A pair of vintage Mid Century Modern speakers by Empire. Made during the 1960s, these speakers are Empire’s Grenadier model 8000 speakers and feature a round wooden case with a wood laminate to the exterior. Marked with an Empire maker’s mark to the lower front, the speakers have a 12’ high compliance woofer, a midrange direct radiation, an ultrasonic domed tweeter, and an angle acoustic lens. The speakers have an impedance of 8 OHMS and a serial number of K44540 and K44541. Power and audio cables for the speakers are not included.
