Pastel on paper

An original pastel drawing on paper of a pastoral landscape by Chandler. This drawing depicts a river running through fields of tall grass and a white farmhouse in the distance. Signed by hand to the lower right corner, the drawing is mounted under glass in a gold tone wood frame with an ornate plaster floral details cover all four curved sides. Hanging wire and a ‘Crane Mill Artworks’ gallery decal are present to verso of the frame.

Condition

- pastels are coming off onto glass cover; frame has chips on left side and cracks through plaster decoration.

- measured frame; visible images measures: 23.5"W x 11.5"H.
