Circa 1900 Hand-Carved Walnut Bookshelf

Item Details

An antique hand-carved walnut bookshelf from circa 1900. This bookshelf features music stand style with top set with one side longer than the other, set in an asymmetric way. The side stiles feature deep relief carvings in the shape of scrolled leaves with the sides notched in an arch and the bottom cut out in the shape of an arch to form feet. There is a lower shelf stretcher which supports the piece and it has a waxed finish.
