Original Thomas M. Hoyne Photo Offset Lithography Print

A highly desirable original photo offset lithography print by well listed artist Thomas Maclay Hoyne (1924 – 1989). The artist’s first print of his works, the print is entitled ‘The Widow Maker,’ and features a team of death defying sailors battling the storm. The text below the titled reads ‘Furling a jib is dangerous work on the bowsprit of the schooner, Oriole, 1911.’ The print is pencil signed to the lower right hand corner, and subsequently numbered 488 in a limited edition of 780. The greatly collectible print is presented in a wooden frame with gold bordering and a single grey mat to edge.
Condition
Some mild scuffing and denting to frame edge, otherwise in great condition.
