An assortment of colored lithographs on paper and four informational prints for a total of forty-five pages for the British Oology. Many of the works are credited to the British Nationalist William Chapman Hewitson (1806 – 1878). The prints depict various types of eggs in a variety of sizes and colors. Each page is presented unmounted and unframed.
Condition
- to fair; pencil markings to the front lower right corner; some bleeding from text evident on verso; some foxing; pages yellowing; edgewear; some color fading; paper is fragile; some papers bent and creasing.
Dimensions
- measurements of single print; each print measures roughly the same.
