1930s "Silver Marshall" Cabinet Radio, Model 585

Item Details

A vintage Silver Marshall Manufacturing Co. cabinet radio, circa 1930s. The vintage tube radio cabinet is made of walnut with a round Bakelite dial in the center. It has a scroll cut screen on the front, with woven fabric backing for the speaker. The original paperwork with diagram is affixed to the inside of the cabinet, and marks this radio as model 585, series B. A brass tone metal label affixed to the front is marked ‘Silver Marshall Manufacturing Co.’

Condition

- Back piece/ inside workings are detached; some cloth covered wires are broken, cut or frayed
- Does not work
- Scratches and dust throughout
