A mid-century Marwal Industries chalkware reproduction of Michelangelo’s Renaissance sculpture The Pietà. The cream figurine depicts the Virgin Mary holding Jesus in her arms, after he has been crucified. The piece rests on a dark brown oval base and is labeled ‘Pietà’ in mold to the front. The item is additionally stamped ‘Marwal Ind Inc’ in mold to the verso.
