An original Tuska (1931-1998) cast paper relief sculpture Female Backside. The piece was created from cast paper and finished with graphite. The piece is signed in pencil by Tuska on the bottom right and is presented in a black wooden frame with a wire to the verso. An internationally acclaimed artist, Tuska is known for his painterly depictions of nudes via sculptures, paintings, and reliefs and are highly sought after. His work expresses the influence of the late Impressionist movement of French artist Rodin.
Condition
The piece is designed with slightly ragged edges and doesn’t lay fully flat.
