Collection of Three Peter Max Posters

A collection of three vintage Peter Max lithograph posters, which were commissioned for the 1982 Knoxville World’s Fair. Included are two identical posters titled Cosmic Trapeze, which are marked along the borders, ‘Peter Max 1982 – ’Cosmic Trapeze’ – The Experience of Energy: Series – Lithograph 211/2′ × 15′ – New York/Knoxvile, Tn.’ The third poster is titled Wind. The border is marked ‘Peter Max 1982 – ’Wind’ – The Experience of Energy: Series – Lithograph 16′ × 21′ – NYC/Knoxville’. The bottom center borders of all three posters are marked ‘1982 World’s Fair – Knoxville, Tennessee’. The artist’s signature is in plate, at the bottom right corners, with ‘The Official Artist of the 1982 World’s Fair’ below.

- creases from being rolled and stored
- all are in unused condition (no pin holes)
- some small flakes to surface
