Early "My Bookhouse" and "My Travelship" Set with Wooden House Display

A complete vintage, 15th edition set of My Bookhouse and My Travelship, stored in a painted gray and orange wooden house display case, published by The Bookhouse for Children and edited by Olive Beaupre Miller, circa 1927-1933. Volumes 1-6 of My Bookhouse come in a washed green ‘Fabrikoid’ cloth binding with embossed title and designs, full-color cover plates, gilt lettering to the spine, and illustrated end pages, with artwork throughout. Containing nursery tales, children’s literature and poetry, the titles of the books are as follow: In the Nursery, Up One Pair of Stairs, Through Fairy Halls, The Treasure Chest, From the Tower Window, and The Latch Key. Also included are the three-volume My Travelship books: Little Pictures of Japan, Tales Told in Holland, and Nursery Friends From France, with gilt lettering, illustrated covers, full, end page illustrations, and artwork throughout.

Condition
- to fair. Considering age. The wooden house has cracked and broken bottom corners and wear along edges but appears to have original parts and paint. Volume 1 of “My Bookhouse” is in the worst condition with a loose binding, wear to cover, a torn plate, and some torn pages. Other books have spine rubbing and worn covers with occasional small stains or discoloration.
