Antique Seth Thomas Mantel Clock
Item Details
An antique Seth Thomas mantel clock. This circa 1870 clock is comprised of black painted wood, featuring resin gold tone lion head door knockers on both sides, and gold tone and cream columns flanked by green and cream plastic with a marbled appearance. The ornate clock face is encased behind a hinged glass door with a gold tone metal rim and is presented beneath a gold tone metal border of dentil molding with piercings to reveal the white face and black classical lettering. The verso features a hinged gold tone door with an ‘ST’ monogram which opens to reveal the mechanical components. The clock rests on four gold tone resin claw feet.
