An artist proof offset lithograph print on paper titled Last Flight of the ‘Spirit of L.S.U.’ Over Lutzendorf, Germany – May 20, 1944. after Glenn Gore. It is signed in graphite ‘Artist Proof’ to the lower left, and Glen Gore to the lower right by the artist hand. It is presented under a triple mat, under glass, in a wood frame with wire to the verso for hanging. Also included in this lot is a black and white photograph of workmen standing around a sign that states ‘Defense Bond Honor Roll’ It is dated March 5, 1942 to the verso. The third item is camouflage paint vials in green and black that come with a pocket sized canvas pouch.
Condition
- wear to the face-paint and the bag holding it, fingerprints visible on the back of the photograph. Does not affect image on the front.
