A set of sterling silver flatware by James Dixon & Sons. This collection is composed of pieces for twelve, including twelve knives, steak knives, forks, salad forks, and oval soup spoons, one master butter knife, one hostess serving spoon, one cake server, one ladle, a serving fork and spoon set, one berry spoon, and seventeen tablespoons. These pieces feature a 2001 pattern with scalloped edges and reeded bands to the top and bottom of the handles. The set comes in a solid wooden storage box lined with a dark blue velvet interior lining, displaying a silvertone plaque, which reads ‘Carrs Sheffield England Silverware’. The total approx weight excluding the knives, cake server and ladle which have stainless steel, is 148.44 ozt.
