A watercolor and gouache on heavyweight rag paper of a landscape by Anna P. Oviatt (1863-1930). This realist piece depicts two figures in the middle of a field surrounded by bales of hay and a white home off in the distance sitting under a large green tree. The piece is signed by the artist to the lower right corner. It is presented behind a white mat in a wood frame with white finish.
Condition
- backing and mat extremely loose in frame; paper backing torn; staining to upper right of mat; paint chipping off of frame.
