A collection of three hand-colored engravings of fox hunting after listed artist Henry Alken (British, 1785 – 1851). Included are three prints on heavy rag paper after In Full Cry, Getting Away, and The Death. Each print features a hand-embossed plate mark with inscriptions in the lower margins denoting artist, publisher, and title. Pieces are without artist’s signature and are presented as loose work without matting or frames.

Condition

- to fair; smudges visible on prints; pencil inscription to lower right margin; wear to edges of paper; some light discoloration and color fading; slight warping to paper edges.
